who we are

Our programs combine the creative side of artistry with the professional side of the business—vocals, dance, songwriting, performance, recording, branding, and confidence-building. Whether a student dreams of being on stage, in the studio, or building their own artist career, we help turn passion into progress.

Led by working industry professionals, Pop Academy is designed to give students the skills, experience, and mindset to grow into complete modern artists.

A Note From Our Founder

“I had to learn the music industry the hard way—without the mentorship I needed. That journey inspired me to create Pop Academy.

Our mission is to give young artists the guidance, training, and real-world support I wish I had earlier. We’re here to help students build lasting confidence, meaningful lives, and real careers in music”

-Tayler Denae, Founder

At Pop Academy, we believe the next generation of artists deserves real-world training built for today’s music industry.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Tayler Denae.

My journey started in middle school—taking lessons from multiple teachers while my mom signed me up for every talent show, audition, and opportunity she could find. It wasn’t until High School I was exposed to the inner workings of the industry and what it takes to be an artist. After competing in American Idol, I later studied Recording Engineering, built my own studio, and eventually learned the business and marketing side of music too.

But I had to learn much of it the hard and long way.

Even with supportive parents, one thing was missing: a true mentor and a clear system that connected artistry, business, confidence, and career growth. But for years, it felt like trying to build a house with no blueprint - running in different directions, spending time and money on pieces that never fully connected.

Since then, I’ve built 3 music projects totaling 11+ million streams, earned placements with Netflix, Paramount, and CBS, and helped students grow from beginners into real artists—with students going on to Berklee College of Music, Belmont University, and Yale University.

That’s why I created Pop Academy - to give the next generation what I wish I had: real mentorship, a proven system, and a complete path to building a sustainable life in music.
